holywood 2026
Summer Language School

for Teenagers & Young People

13-31 July 2026

A new start in Holywood !
We now aim to improve our summer programme thanks to a renewed cooperation with Holywood Steiner School.

In addition to the traditional highlights of past years -such as gatherings with the local community at Ivy Bar or conversations on topics of actuality- we will refresh our programme to match the needs and expectations of today’s teenagers and young people.

The ethos of the local community in lyrics

The simple lyrics below were included by Laura in a rendered version of  the traditional “I’ll Tell Me Ma(or “The Belle of Belfast City”) and express very well the ethos of the local community:

When we dance we dance together,
When we cry we hold each other,
When we love we love forever
Down by the Lagan side

English Tuition

Our priority is to help students speak English with confidence, be fluent in verbal communications and social interactions, be correct in writing and pronunciation.

The English lessons are dynamic, interactive and encourage students to work in team, practise cooperative learning and become the “responsible creators of their own learning outcomes”.

All creative workshops and even outdoor sessions are “live English in action”  and concur to the same target of the English tuition: enjoy understanding and speaking English with confidence!
